I've been in an accident - what do I do?
If your car is driveable and there are no injuries, find a safe area to park. Call 911 immediately if anyone is injured. You should exchange your names, addresses, policy numbers, drivers license numbers and your insurance company names. If there are any witnesses retain their name and contact information. It would be helpful to take photos of the vehicles involved as well as the location of the collision for future reference.

It looks like my car needs to be repaired after an accident - what do I do?
Contact your insurance company to make a claim. You will need your insurance papers, driver's license, paper and pen. They will ask you all of the particulars regarding the accident or claim (for example, the date it occurred, location, whether there are any injuries or witnesses etc. Once you have a claim number call us or bring your vehicle in so we are able to determine the amount of damage and whether we will need to order any parts before the repair process can begin.

I don't think my car is safe to drive - what do I do?
Make sure you let your insurance company know that your vehicle is unsafe to drive. They can arrange for your car to be towed or we are also happy to arrange that for you. We will need a claim number from your provider. They will ask where you would like your vehicle taken. We will be happy to help you with the repair process from beginning to end.

Do I have a replacement vehicle when you repair my vehicle?
We can provide you with a replacement vehicle. You must be 19 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a credit card. Your credit card will not be charged and is for security purposes. There may be toll bridge charges that will be applied to your card if you have used one of the tolls for travel. The bill is received by us after the fact but we will discuss whether you want to charge your credit card when you drop off or pick up your car.

How long will it take to repair my vehicle?
The amount of time to repair your vehicle depends on a number of things. Sometimes hidden damage is discovered during the repair or the part we have ordered may not be painted and will need approval from your insurance provider. We are in constant communication with your insurance provider during your repair. Once you leave your vehicle with us we deal with them on all aspects of the repair portion of your claim.

Will Paramount Autobody keep me informed throughout the repair?
We will be happy to keep you informed! Let us know if you would like a call or an e-mail or text as often as you would like! Otherwise, we will only be calling you when your vehicle is ready! Remember you will be required to return the replacement vehicle with the same amount of gas as when you received it!
